Division Details

All roster sizes and the amount of players to be used on the field at one time will be announced, once the rosters and game schedules have been set.

Ages 12+13+14 (U15)

There will be a weekly practice at Mariner Middle School. The practice schedule will be released as soon as the game schedule and rosters are created. You will then play match on Saturday mornings against a team in your age group.

The head coach of each team will be responsible for turning in a game report to Patrick Kilby or Danny Maskell (Co-Recreational Directors). A game report template will be provided to the coach each week. This box score will be reported to the Cape Gazette.

We will also seed teams in this age group. They will compete in the end of the season tournament which will be held weeks 6 and 7. More details to follow.

Ages 10 and 11 (U12)

There will be a weekly practice at Mariner Middle School. The practice schedule will be released as soon as the game schedule and rosters are created. You will then play match on Saturday mornings against a team in your age group.

Ages 8 and 9 (U10)

There will be a weekly practice at Mariner Middle School. The practice schedule will be released as soon as the game schedule and rosters are created. You will then play match on Saturday mornings against a team in your age group.

Our PDP (Player Development Program) will be competing in this age group (boys team and girls team). Our recreational program is a platform for our athletes and their families to make the move to the select/travel level. The PDP group are those players looking to make the move to the next level. Recreational parents can now see the PDP product on display each week during the recreational season.

Ages 6 and 7 (U8)

There will be a weekly practice at Mariner Middle School. The practice schedule will be released as soon as the game schedule and rosters are created. You will then play match on Saturday mornings against a team in your age group.

Ages 4 and 5 (U6)

Will play 4 v 4. There will be eight teams with about seven athletes per team. Fields will be split with two teams on each field. The first 30 minutes of the session will consist of a mini training session. The session will be centered around the provided coaching guide. The second 30 minutes will consist of a small sided game against the other team on the field.

Ages 2 and 3 (U4)

Will play 6 v 6 Multiple Ball Scrimmage

The first 30 minutes of the session will be consisting of a training session/fun game. The activities will be outlined in the issued coaching guide. The second 30 minutes will be a small sided game where the team will split into two groups and play against each other.

*Multiple Ball Scrimmage: Is a modified scrimmage that is
designed to maximize player participation at the youngest ages.
The general principles of a scrimmage remain the same. Players
are divided into two teams who play from end to end as normal.
The significant difference is the use of multiple balls on the field.
