COVID-19 & Returning to Sports
Soccer is considered a medium risk sport as an activity that involves individuals in close proximity and typically involves intermittent personal contact.
Henlopen Soccer Club will be adhering to the following guidelines for our Recreational Program.
Athletes playing medium risk sports may remove their face covering when active on a field of play but must wear it at all other times.
Players, staff, coaches, officials and all participants in sports must wash hands or sanitize hands, per CDC and DPH guidelines, before and after practice and games.
Hand sanitizer will be available for players at each game field.
Each athlete shall have only one person accompany them to practices or games. That person shall wear a face covering as required and be at least six (6) feet apart from others unless waiting in their car.
Games will have staggered arrival/departure to limit/reduce the mixing of groups. Please arrive for your game no sooner than 15 minutes before game time. If you do arrive prior to the 15 minutes, please remain in your vehicle to allow time for teams with earlier games to leave the fields.
